About The Position
Pack finished goods according to charting instructions / packaging specifications while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude
- Good oral / written communication skills
- Computing skills
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
Responsibilities
- All production related duties / responsibilities of Packer - C
- Exhibit safe work habits; including ensuring equipment is in safe working condition and reporting any unsafe acts / conditions to Senior Lead
- Follow Lock-Out / Tag-Out procedures when necessary
- Identify correct packing code using Packaging Specifications Manual
- Reset alarms in packing area
- Knowledge of manual operation of packing shuttles
- Crane inspections
- Printer operation and maintenance
- All required documentation; including production and housekeeping
- Comply with company recycling policy
- Comply with all Plant Safety and Product Safety requirements
