About The Position

This position involves hand-loading pens from assembly machines into bulk boxes or master cartons. The role requires operating various machines including G2, EZR, EZT, and Cartoner machines, performing quality checks, and ensuring production standards are met. The job also includes tasks such as assembling and labeling cartons, unpacking raw materials, cleaning equipment, and training other associates. Accuracy with product codes and finished product inspection are crucial. The role may also involve assisting in other departments and working extended hours or weekends, particularly during peak seasons.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma.
Up to one year of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Assemble and label master cartons for pens.
Load cartoner machines with dozen boxes.
Unpack raw material for product runs.
Operate G2 Print, G2 Write Test, EZR Print, EZT Print, & Cartoner machines.
Perform G2 Refill cleaning and appearance checks.
Fill out detailed paperwork reporting machine performance and production quantity.
Clean centrifuges and change pucks.
Train associates and temporary workforce.
Complete training with new machinery and SOPs.
Inspect and recognize bad or defective raw materials.
Constantly inspect finished product for quality during printing or packing.
Assist with rework as needed.
Clean machine residue and perform minor machine troubleshooting.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product codes and descriptions.
Perform packaging tasks in Blister and Display departments as needed.
Work extended shifts and/or weekends when necessary, especially during Back-to-School seasons.
Ensure workspace and surrounding areas are neat and clean.
