About The Position

This is a temporary Packaging Utility position on the 1st shift at HN Packaging. The role involves various tasks related to preparing products for bagging and boxing, maintaining cleanliness of work areas, and ensuring product quality and safety.

• Ability to pack boxes up to 70 Lbs.
• Ability to work well in a team atmosphere.
• Must be able to keep pace on the production line.

• Good attendance.
• Good hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions, lifting, and pulling.
• Availability to work.

Responsibilities

• Push/pull full racks (100+ lbs) into position for unloading product onto conveyors.
• Remove product from racks onto conveyors for bagging preparation.
• Remove product from vats on occasion and place them onto conveyors.
• Use a knife or safety knife for trimming clips and opening netting for removal.
• Place product into boxes and close the boxes using a four corner fold, tape gun, or inline taping unit.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning and sanitizing conveyor and product contact areas before and after changing product.
• Monitor the status and quality of products.
