The Packaging Technician works closely with Production Leads and Supervisors to ensure the accurate, efficient, and compliant packaging of cannabis flower and pre-roll products. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality medical cannabis products to patients while maintaining strict adherence to company procedures and state regulations. Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid government-issued photo ID
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
- Ability to stay focused and productive while performing repetitive tasks
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety
Nice To Haves
- Experience in packaging, labeling, manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse environments
- Experience working with detailed, quality-focused processes
- Cannabis industry experience is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Package cannabis flower and pre-roll products according to established standards and procedures
- Follow all company policies, SOPs, and Florida medical marijuana regulations
- Verify product quality, weights, counts, labels, and packaging accuracy
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
- Inspect products throughout the packaging process to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Prepare and manage raw materials needed for production runs
- Assist with inventory counts and material tracking
- Calibrate, operate, clean, and maintain packaging equipment and tools
- Complete production documentation, maintenance logs, and required records accurately
- Support efficient line setup, changeovers, and breakdown activities
- Assist with shipping and receiving functions as needed
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality
- Partner with other departments to support overall facility objectives
