For more details, please visit https://www.piramalcriticalcare.com/global/ Job Title Packaging Technician Job Description The purpose of this job is to operate systems and equipment at the site to package inhalation anesthetic agents according to customer requirements. It documents all activities in the proper GMP format, ensures inventory is accurately maintained, and performs proper cleaning of the Packaging area.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education Qualification: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum Experience (in Years): 1-2 years
  • Critical Thinking — using logic and reasoning to identify issues and alternative solutions
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times to interface effectively with all internal and external customers
  • Knowledge and application of SAP for inventory control and maintenance work notifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain professional attitude. Legible, cGMP compliant handwriting is mandatory.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to operate PLC controls
  • Creative and able to present various solutions
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational disposition
  • Knowledge of the cGMP regulations and their application to the packaging processes

Responsibilities

  • Operates, controls, and monitors packaging systems, both manually and with the use of automation, by following work instructions and SOPs
  • Cleans not only the area of operation on shift but also periodic cleaning of the entire packaging area
  • Documents all activities in a manner that is compliant with GDPs and all FDA regulations. This may include providing information to the person responsible for completing the packaging batch record.
  • Utilizes SAP to perform material transactions and movements to align with physical transfers and consumption of materials, as well as to submit work orders
  • Stages materials to ensure continuous operation of packaging equipment. This may involve materials for the current order being processed or the next.
  • Suggests process improvement ideas to better the packaging operations
  • Troubleshoots issues with the systems being operated and makes minor adjustments to resolve issues. Contacts Maintenance if equipment is not operating properly and cannot be adjusted.
  • Reports any safety issues to the proper personnel
  • Ensures that individual training is completed on time and in full.
  • Operates pallet jack or similar equipment to move materials. Potentially utilizes stand up forklift to move larger materials
  • Performs challenges on packaging equipment to ensure inspection systems are functioning properly
