Connected/Alien labs Packaging Technicians play a crucial role in the production and distribution process by ensuring that products are securely and efficiently packaged for shipping or retail display. This role involves collaborating with production teams to meet quality standards, maintain a streamlined packaging process, and contribute to overall operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years leadership experience in operations, logistics, distribution, and inventory
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage projects and multi-task
  • Adaptability and resilience to change
  • Calm under pressure
  • Safety and Compliance focused

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the cannabis industry highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Execute the packaging of various cannabis products, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Operate packaging machinery and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
  • Monitor and maintain packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct quality checks on packaged products to ensure they meet specified standards.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or defects in the packaging process.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address and resolve quality issues.
  • Stay current on cannabis regulations and packaging requirements.
  • Ensure all packaging activities adhere to local and state regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records related to packaging processes for compliance purposes.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels of packaging materials.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of packaging supplies.
  • Report any shortages or issues with packaging materials.
  • Perform tasks outside their role to assist in production, sanitation, distribution, cultivation, etc. as needed
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in production, quality assurance, and other departments to achieve production goals.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of cannabis products, packaging processes, and safety protocols.
