This is a fully onsite role based at our Rockford, IL site. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position. Shift: 2nd 12 pm – 8:30 pm Mon - Friday. As a Packaging Technician I, you will help ensure high-quality antibody and immunoassay products are accurately received, packaged, labeled, and inventoried in an ISO-certified manufacturing environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will directly support on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- No previous work experience required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow work instructions, maintain documentation, and perform inventory transactions.
- Basic computer proficiency with the ability to learn inventory management systems, receiving software, and label printing applications
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, work effectively in a team environment, and meet production deadlines.
- Basic mathematical and scientific calculation skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing processes.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement principles.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Previous work experience in manufacturing, operations, production, warehouse, laboratory, or a related environment.
- Experience working in an ISO-certified, cGMP, or other regulated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials into the inventory management system while maintaining accurate documentation and product traceability
- Package, label, verify, and stock finished antibody products following standard operating procedures, quality requirements, and Good Documentation Practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by following safe laboratory practices, participating in Lean, 5S, and Practical Process Improvement activities, and collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams to meet production goals.
