About The Position

The Packaging Supervisor is responsible for managing personnel in the box shop and packaging warehouse across multiple shifts (A, B, & C). This role involves managing packaging inventories for Fabrication and Harvest, reducing packaging claims, and identifying/implementing cost-saving initiatives related to packaging. The supervisor will oversee the order management of all packaging materials by coordinating with Sales, Scheduling, Production, Quality Assurance, and vendors. Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating packaging standards, conducting new product packaging specification tests, following up on vendor audit reports, and managing/training packaging auditor personnel. Communication of audit results to supervisors and superintendents is also a critical function. This role may require weekend work at least once per quarter.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience working with packaging in a food production facility
  • 1+ years of experience in warehouse management and 5S methodology
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities
  • Experience with ERM and analysis tools such as SAP and Qlikview
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization

  • Ability to speak multiple languages, including English & Spanish preferred
