About The Position

At Novonesis, we are driven by a shared purpose—to better our world with biology. As part of our Packaging team in West Allis (WEA), you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality dairy culture products are packaged and delivered to customers. Our team is responsible for packaging dairy cultures at the WEA site and shipping finished goods to New Berlin. We take pride in strong collaboration, daily problem-solving, and a shared commitment to delivering products that meet customer expectations. The team is supportive, results-focused, and works closely together to meet operational goals while contributing to Novonesis’ broader mission. The Role & Your Impact As a Packaging Supervisor, you will lead and manage 2nd shift production operations while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across all activities. This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on execution and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business or science-related field
  • 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage across all organizational levels
  • Proven leadership, collaboration, and decision-making capabilities in fast-paced settings
  • Working knowledge of continuous improvement principles (e.g., Lean, 5S)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Fluency in English (read, write, and speak)
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment

  • Experience working in food production or regulated manufacturing environments
  • Exposure to packaging operations or supply chain processes
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for optimization
