About The Position
We have a current opening for a Sr Packaging Buyer and are actively reviewing applications. The Packaging Buyer will manage certain packaging material categories including guarantee purchase of goods, materials and services in accordance with defined guidelines to ensure that the company operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery and ensure continuity of supply running the purchase order with a set supplier base with alignment of Ferrero central procurement strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree required
- 0-3 years procurement experience
- Experience working in matrix organization
- Knowledge of the Global Pack Material market
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and influence others
- Ability to problem solve and set priorities
- Master of Microsoft Excel, PPT and SAP
Responsibilities
- Ensure supply continuity of local pack material categories with pricing, quality and delivery
- Implement central pack material strategy in the US
- Manage budget for pack material categories
- Manage central and local stakeholders in Matrix organization
- Manage RFI, RFQ, market analysis, risk management, price management
