Packaging Specialist
About The Position
The Packaging Specialist ensures all products are properly palletized, wrapped, and prepared for shipping utilizing PaceJet and RF Smart. This role involves pulling and processing orders, packing products to meet shipping requirements, and handling/labeling bundles according to specific instructions. The specialist will operate an electric pallet jack, maintain a clean work area, and be accountable for attendance, efficiency, and work quality. Responsibilities also include stacking, banding, and wrapping pallets for shipping, weighing non-FTL orders, and scanning items into PaceJet. The role requires ensuring compliance with quality, 6S, and OSHA programs, as well as conformity to company and customer standards.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer, reading, and math skills required.

Nice To Haves
- 1-3 years packaging experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Pull and process orders according to the sales order and production docket.
- Pack product to meet shipping requirements.
- Review order instructions and handle, label, and package bundles to specific requirements utilizing PaceJet.
- Operate electric pallet jack.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Be accountable for attendance, efficiency, and work quality.
- Stack, band, and wrap pallets for shipping.
- Weigh and record all non FTL orders.
- Scan all items per skid into PaceJet.
- Perform other tasks as requested.
- Ensure compliance to quality, 6S, and OSHA programs; assure conformity to all company and customer requirements.
