About The Position

As a Packaging Specialist in the manufacturing industry, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing packaging solutions that ensure product safety, quality, and compliance throughout the supply chain. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency of production lines and the protection of goods during transportation and storage. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and logistics to optimize packaging materials and processes. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and sustainability practices. Ultimately, your work will contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction by delivering products that meet both functional and aesthetic packaging standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in packaging design or packaging engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, testing methods, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in CAD software and packaging design tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Technical skills such as CAD software to create and modify packaging designs that meet product and regulatory requirements.
• Analytical skills are essential for testing packaging materials and interpreting data to ensure durability and compliance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills enable effective coordination with suppliers, production teams, and quality assurance to implement packaging solutions efficiently.
• Problem-solving abilities are applied daily to address packaging defects and optimize processes to reduce costs and waste.
• Staying informed about industry trends and sustainability practices allows the specialist to innovate and improve packaging strategies continuously.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with sustainable packaging solutions and environmental regulations.
• Familiarity with supply chain logistics and inventory management related to packaging.
• Certification in packaging technology (e.g., Certified Packaging Professional).

Responsibilities
