About The Position

GRS Recruiting has partnered with a leading Packaging Equipment Distributor in their search for a Packaging Specialist/Applications Engineer to join their team. This role is a high-impact position where you will be the technical expert supporting an experienced and developing sales team. Requirements

• Experience in packaging equipment (end-of-line & primary).
• Strong engineering skills in packaging applications.
• Expertise in corrugate and film packaging solutions.
• Ability to support sales teams by providing technical knowledge and customer-facing expertise.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for the sales team, assisting with complex packaging solutions.
• Work with corrugate and film-based packaging systems to optimize end-of-line production.
• Provide on-site and remote support for customers, ensuring the best packaging solutions are implemented.
• Collaborate with sales reps to drive new business.
• Work from the Dallas/Fort Worth office when not traveling to customer sites.
• Specialize in automation solutions, including case erectors, palletizers, filling equipment, horizontal film seal, shrink wrap, shrink systems, and heat tunnels.
