IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO: · Interpret and manage job orders through Epicor, ensuring alignment with production needs. · Read, comprehend, and follow processes and procedures as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure proper equipment operation and product manufacturing. · Operate and maintain both hand and power tools, ensuring they are in good working condition. · Conduct quality control checks and inspections to verify that the manufactured product meets all required specifications and standards. · Take on additional projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Proficient in reading instructions, safely operating machines, and visually inspecting produced parts.
Demonstrates accuracy and efficiency in completing work assignments within established timelines.
Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds intermittently throughout the workday.
Fluent in reading, writing, and comprehending plant directives in English.
Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality results.
Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Exceptional organizational and coordination skills, ensuring smooth workflow.

Nice To Haves

Have basic computer skills and accurate data entry experience for receiving and issuing products.
Perform simple mathematics to comprehend and interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, tally sheets, etc. and to keep accurate account of materials used during manufacturing process including scrap amounts.
Frequent lifting, standing, bending & reaching required
Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
Must adhere to all the PPE requirements to perform the job safely, this includes but is not limited to, Eye, Hand, Feet, and Hearing protection

Responsibilities

Become familiar with all products shipped to and from Trystar, ensuring accurate handling.
Understand packaging requirements for various products, including pallet sizes, box dimensions, and crate necessity.
Read and interpret Sales Orders accurately to ensure correct product handling and shipping.
Load and unload trailers, including both dry vans and flatbeds, ensuring proper handling and safety.
Maintain a clean and organized shipping area, promoting a safe and efficient workspace.
Operate packaging equipment such as the pallet wrapper and scale.
Possess forklift and electric pallet jack certification for safe and efficient material handling.
Utilize power tools, including panel saws, compound miter saws, nail guns, and screw guns, as needed.
Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly, ensuring the ability to handle heavy products safely.
