About The Position

Package cheese in a food production environment, ensuring each box meets quality and safety standards. The role involves hands-on packaging work, operating equipment, checking weights, completing records, and supporting cleaning and sanitation. Team members may also help train new employees and communicate with a supervisor to keep production running smoothly. The position offers training and advancement opportunities and follows a repeating 5-2-2-5 schedule, working 5 PM to 5 AM, with every other weekend off.

Requirements

• Team player with good communication skills.
• Attention to detail and willingness to follow safety and quality standards.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Package cheese into large boxes according to standard procedures.
• Operate packaging-room equipment safely and efficiently.
• Check weights and ensure boxes meet specifications.
• Maintain accurate records and complete paperwork.
• Follow food safety guidelines and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist with cleaning and sanitation.
• Help train new team members when needed.
• Communicate with the supervisor to support smooth production.
