About The Position

As a member of the Creative Team at Naterra, you'll work primarily on Tree Hut. This role sits at the intersection of art direction and production, designing and executing all things packaging — from concept visuals through final mechanicals. You'll contribute creative concepts and layout input while ensuring all materials align with our brand portfolio, maintaining consistency and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities also include managing sample requests and participating in hands-on production tasks.
The ideal candidate thrives on the routine of a production environment, brings strong problem-solving skills, and can adapt to last-minute changes — while also contributing innovative packaging concepts for limited-edition runs. This person is skilled at resolving obstacles and challenges to keep design work on track, even under tight development timelines.
They should have a genuine passion for beauty and graphic design, bring a positive, team-oriented attitude, and be comfortable with Naterra's five-day in-office policy.
This is an ideal role for someone who wants to grow both creatively and technically — learning the mechanical side of graphic design while also getting to concept and push creative boundaries on design projects within the beauty industry.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is a must.
• Comfortable using AI tools to improve design efficiency.
• Foundational design skills, including a solid understanding of layout, typography, and color, with a portfolio demonstrating design and/or production work.
• Knowledge of print production processes, file preparation, and color management.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow within the team.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in production art and/or graphic design, preferably in CPG, beauty, or related industries (internships considered).
• Staying plugged into Gen Z design and beauty trends is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute creative concepts and layout direction for Tree Hut and Baby Magic packaging and labels, working alongside senior designers to support 150+ SKUs and Limited Edition Collections.
• Adjust and refine design files into a mechanical layout — updating text, revising layouts, and adjusting bleeds — and confirm print-readiness by verifying color separations, dyelines, image resolution, and typography; organize and archive mechanicals, templates, and assets.
• Manage sample requests and ensure all materials align with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Review proofs and incorporate vendor feedback to maintain production quality.
• Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve production or printing issues.
• Create mockups of kits and packaging to give retailers or internal teams a visual preview of the final product before production.
• Projects primarily include CPG labels, boxes, and kits.
