About The Position
Sasol is seeking a Packaging Processor to package aluminum oxide powder for delivery to customers and to stage and store pallet of material to support operations. This role involves operating packaging equipment, handling materials, completing logs, and adhering to company policies and safety procedures in potentially challenging environments.
Requirements
- High School / School Diploma or similar
- 6 months + experience in a warehouse / manufacturing / mining / construction or landscaping role preferred
- Proficiency in native-level English
- Must be able to ascend and descend stairs
- Must be able to wear respirator
- Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 52 lbs
Responsibilities
- Operate packaging equipment including Forklifts, Barrel dumpers and pallet wrappers under the direction of a Supervisor.
- Safely operate a forklift within operational and warehouse buildings.
- Handle Aluminum Oxide Powder.
- Accurately complete logs and collect samples for quality lab.
- Follow company policies and site Standard Operating Procedures.
- Safely work in environments that may be load, hot and/or dusty.
