About The Position

Crescent Paper Tube, a family-owned business, is hiring production workers for its plant floor. Employees will be trained in various aspects of tube-making operations and will perform a range of production and general labor tasks. The role requires a strong work ethic, cooperation, and a commitment to consistently meeting customer expectations. Employees regularly move between work areas to meet production needs. Pre-employment drug screening and a background check are required.

Requirements

Ability to read a tape measure.
Strong math skills.
Ability to regularly and steadily lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform frequent bending and stooping.
Ability to remain on feet except during breaks.

Responsibilities

Operate paper tube manufacturing equipment.
Handle finished products as they come off production lines.
Package and wrap finished goods for shipment.
Perform equipment upkeep.
Pull materials to and from production lines.
Perform general housekeeping.
Move between work areas as needed to satisfy work requirements and meet customer expectations.
