This opportunity is for a Production Worker (Packaging Operator) at the Portage la Prairie, MB location. The role is responsible for operating the packaging system to ensure finished products are packed, sealed, and prepared for shipping according to product specifications. Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent
Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs
Must be able to work well as part of a team
Solid oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

Computer knowledge an asset
Experience operating mobile equipment considered an asset

Responsibilities

Operate packaging equipment
Operate forklift
Perform minor repairs and troubleshooting activities on packaging equipment
Perform cleaning duties as assigned to meet standards in all areas of the warehouse and grounds
Accurately complete documentation for all processes
Perform quality and food safety checks of finished goods and equipment
Operates in accordance with all food safety, safety, and fire prevention regulations and practices
Perform other duties as required
