About The Position

The J.R. Simplot Company is a diverse, privately held global food and agriculture company headquartered in Boise, Idaho. We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture. The Packaging Operator tends, maintains, and adjusts machines that stock, fill, wrap, seal and label bags with finished product.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 3+ years related experience and/or training

Responsibilities

• Ensures that product and bagging requirements are met safely, efficiently and with minimal waste.
• Inspects bagging line processes and materials.
• Responds promptly to any machine malfunctions.
