Packaging Operator - Night Shift
About The Position
Darigold is seeking a motivated Packaging Operator to join the team at our Lynden Washington plant. As a member of the Operations team, the Production Operator should possess the desire and ability to contribute to the success of the plant. Our plants create nutritious products 24/7, 365 days a year - availability to work multiple shifts, including weekends and holidays is a must! This is a full-time hourly union position. Darigold is the fifth largest dairy cooperative in the United States based on milk volume, and one of the largest privately held organizations headquartered in the state of Washington. Requirements
- Experience working in a food processing/manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience driving and operating forklifts strongly preferred.
- Must be capable of heavy lifting (up to 56 pounds).
- Ability to work with others to achieve team goals.
- Ability to maintain high attendance standards and be trusted with a high level of responsibility.
- Available to work multiple shifts in a 24/7 environment.
- Able to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Operation of a 25kg filler, tote filler and forklift operation, in accordance with Darigold standard operating procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and all regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and safely without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to complete multiple repetitive tasks with attention to detail and must be committed to accuracy and quality.
- Ability to maintain legible, accurate documentation.
- May be assigned on projects in other areas when needed.
