About The Position
The Simplot Company is a diverse, privately held global food and agriculture company headquartered in Boise, Idaho. We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture. The Packaging Operator tends, maintains, and adjusts machines that stock, fill, wrap, seal, and label bags with finished product.
Requirements
- 3+ years related experience and/or training.
Responsibilities
- Ensures that product and bagging requirements are met safely, efficiently, and with minimal waste.
- Inspects bagging line processes and materials and responds promptly to any machine malfunctions.
