About The Position

Barrel One Collective is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their brewery production team in Windsor, VT. This is a hands-on manufacturing role for someone who enjoys working with equipment, solving problems, staying active, and being part of a team. The operator will help operate and maintain packaging equipment, ensuring all products meet quality, consistency, and safety standards. Previous brewery experience is not required, but experience in manufacturing, production, packaging, machine operation, mechanical work, or food and beverage production is beneficial. The role involves operating brewery packaging equipment safely and efficiently, packaging beer to meet production and quality goals, monitoring and adjusting equipment, performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting, completing production records, following safety and quality procedures, maintaining a clean work area, collaborating with other teams, assisting with equipment changeovers, and identifying areas for improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment, good communication and teamwork skills, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Operate brewery packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
Help package beer while meeting daily production and quality goals.
Monitor equipment and make routine machine adjustments throughout the production run.
Perform basic equipment maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
Identify and respond quickly to product quality or equipment issues.
Complete production records, logs, and other required documentation accurately.
Follow brewery safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
Work closely with brewing, quality, warehouse, and other production team members.
Help with changeovers, startup, shutdown, and cleaning of packaging equipment.
Look for ways to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and the way we work.
Be a positive, dependable teammate who is willing to jump in where needed.
