About The Position

Cresco Labs is seeking a Packaging Operator for their RollPro machinery. This role involves executing tasks assigned by the Packaging Manager, including measuring, packaging, and labeling products. The operator will also be responsible for collecting samples, performing quality tests, maintaining a sanitary work environment, and operating and troubleshooting the Roll-Pro machinery. The position requires adherence to quality and compliance standards, as well as recordkeeping procedures.

Requirements

Prior experience w/ automation equipment (ie. scales, fillers, HMIs, etc)
Working understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components
Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict policies and procedure
Ability to measure, package and label in a precise manner
Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment
Proficiency in Excel software, Tracking rates in weekly “Block Tracker”
Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry

Responsibilities

Executing tasks assigned by the Packaging Manager
Measuring, packaging, and labeling products as directed by Packaging Manager
Collecting samples and performing tests to ensure quality
Maintaining a sanitary work environment
Set up Roll-Pro’s machinery for operation, using start of shift checklist
Start, run, make adjustments to Roll Pro machinery when necessary to improve performance
Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions
Troubleshoot issues and escalate downtime and barriers to supervisor
Perform quality control follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures(Block Tracker)
Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area
Safely transport products from workspace to storage area
Ensure that all functions are performed to the highest standard of quality and compliance
