About The Position

Deschutes Brewery is hiring full-time, weekend shift Packaging Machine Operators. This role involves working with a team to operate the packaging line, ensuring our beverages are packaged into kegs, cans, and bottles. Responsibilities include operating automated equipment, performing quality control checks (e.g., 'bottled on' dates, expiration dates, batch numbers), changing labels, and other production tasks. Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Eagerness and ability to learn our specialty brewery equipment and machinery.
• Focused attention on training for safety and standard operating procedures.
• Experience in a team-based environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous manufacturing or production experience.
• Previous forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate various pieces of automated equipment on the packaging line.
• Perform quality control and checking for accuracy on 'bottled on' dates, expiration dates, and batch numbers.
• Change bottle labels.
• Perform other tasks in a production environment.
