Requirements

Ability to regularly bend, twist, climb ladders and stairs, open/close lids and stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift and move up to 25 kg (55 lbs) regularly.
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced physically demanding environment.
Comfortable working in a noisy, and variable-temperature environment.
Comfortable with use of personal protective equipment (e.g., hard hat, safety boots, etc.).
Capable of operating equipment and working at heights when required.
Ability to work shift work is a MUST: Currently, we are operating on a rotating 8-hour shift schedule, which will soon be transitioning to a 12-hour shift schedule. The new shifts will run from 7 am to 7 pm and from 7 pm to 7 am.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn and operate production equipment.
Strong team and interpersonal skills.
Have reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Forklift and skid steer experience is an asset.
1-2 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate and monitor automated and semi-automatic bagging systems in a fast-paced production environment.
Take responsibility for machine rotation.
Complete quality checks to ensure products meet food safety and customer standards.
Efficiently pack through designated stations.
Set up and tear down equipment.
Support equipment changeovers.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace through strong housekeeping practices.
Take on additional duties as assigned, contributing to a smooth, efficient, and high-quality production process.
