About The Position

The Flex Line Packaging Operator supports production by operating packaging equipment and performing hand-packing and case-stacking duties. This role rotates between stations in the packaging area and ensures product quality, safety, and efficiency. Requirements

  • Basic literacy skills (be able to read & write)
  • Basic math skills required
  • Proficiency in data collection and production reporting
  • Ability to lift in excess of 50lbs
  • Ability to walk/stand 100% of work time

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and adjust packaging equipment, including Case Former, Tri-Sealer, Box Erector, Print & Apply, mixers, chunker, slurry mixer, and pallet jacks after training
  • Prepare and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Monitor production data, control points, and recipes; make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Scale and load ingredients into mixers and refeed scrap dough as necessary
  • Perform hand-packing, case stacking, and Operator Care duties (e.g., cleaning vacuum, monitoring lard and dough temperatures)
  • Follow all Quality, GMP, SQF, 5S, and Safety policies and procedures
  • Lift up to 50+ lbs
  • Perform additional duties, including Autonomous Maintenance (AM), as assigned
  • Confirm dough process orders and maintain accurate measurements and production records
