About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. As a(n) Packaging Operator III, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by operating automated assembly machines to pack out products, maintaining quality standards and safety standards, utilizing 3M Computer systems to track production and packaging cycles, and maintaining communication with production coworkers and supervisors regarding production performance.

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application to be eligible for employment with 3M.
Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)
Work Rotating Shifts, Overtime, Extended Hours, Weekends, Holidays as needed, and short notice shift coverage
Minimum two (2) months of operating production machinery or CNC equipment in a private, public, government or military environment
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

Basic computer knowledge
6 months to 1 year of experience working with production machinery or CNC equipment.

Responsibilities

Operating automated assembly machines to pack out products
Maintaining quality standards and safety standards
Utilizing 3M Computer systems to track production and packaging cycles
Maintaining communication with production coworkers and supervisors regarding production performance
Comply with corporate policies, procedures and security standards while performing assigned duties.
Contribute to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement.
