Requirements

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to operate all Packaging Equipment
  • Excellent organizational and social skills are required.
  • Proficient with computers, email, Office 365.

Nice To Haves

  • Tasks require visual acuity (reading fine print and inspecting lenses and cartons), light lifting (Up to 23 lbs.), attention to detail, standing, sitting, bending, stooping, crouching, walking, pulling, grasping, reaching, pushing, talking, other, and repetitive motions (hands and arms), completing paperwork and performing basic math for count reconciliation.

Responsibilities

  • Products produced at the facility periodically require re-cartoning and / or additional inspections.
  • Manually inspects cartons and/or lenses, as needed, to meet formal specification requirements to identify and isolate defects.
  • Performs many of the responsibilities vital to operate, adjust, and maintain the Packaging cartoners.
  • Responsible for performing accurate lot changes and documentation.
  • Adheres to all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and Environmental policies and procedures and supports Department objectives.
