About The Position

Packaging Operator I is an entry-level role within the packaging department, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of packaging equipment. This position ensures in-process products are packaged in accordance with the Packaging Batch Record, while strictly adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining full compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) throughout all operations.

Requirements

Strict compliance with cGMP, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), environmental and safety regulations, and other applicable guidelines.
Consistent use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Following all gowning and safety protocols.
Disposal of rejected products and packaging components in designated disposal areas.
Inspection and verification of bulk product and packaging components prior to entry into the packaging room.
Maintaining a clean, well-organized, and properly prepared packaging line and room.
Accurate logbook entries recording relevant information before and after each batch operation.
Performing in-process quality control checks during packaging operations and accurately documenting results.
Verifying accuracy of scales and balances by performing weight checks.
Ensuring all equipment is within calibration status prior to initiating packaging operations.

Responsibilities

Carries out packaging operations in strict compliance with cGMP, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), environmental and safety regulations, and other applicable guidelines.
