Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math & data entry skills.
  • Mechanical ability.
  • Ability to function and communicate within a fast-paced team environment to meet production rates.
  • Good hand/eye coordination.
  • Be able to multi-task efficiently.
  • Work Safely.
  • Able to read a ruler.
  • Able to use military time to complete checks.
  • Pay attention to minor details.
  • Time management skills.
  • Must be able to see well enough to inspect product to read date codes.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • Must be able to walk.
  • Must be able to climb using a step ladder and climb.
  • Must be able to lift 5-35 lbs. frequently; periodically up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to grip/grasp frequently.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and safety instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Pack product in boxes on the line.
  • Set-up materials, film, labels, cartons, etc.
  • Know the quality aspects of the products and be able to recognize defects.
  • Perform hourly quality checks as specified by Edgewell SOPs.
  • Adhere to Safety/OSHA/GMP/FDA requirements.
  • Perform housekeeping/Lean/5-S.
  • Perform other lead/supervisor directed tasks.
  • Proper use/handling of chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Operate equipment in a safe and timely manner.
  • Produce products while meeting all production and quality standards according to Edgewell SOPs and FDA compliance.
  • Perform quality checks according to SOPs and safety protocols.
  • Assist with the preparation, assembly, or packaging of products in compliance with FDA regulations.
  • Perform in-process inspections and report any deviations or quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate production records and batch documentation (Good Documentation Practices – GDP).
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Participate in daily cleaning and setup of equipment and workstations.
  • Support changeovers as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members and shift supervisors to meet production goals.
  • Communicate any equipment malfunctions or process concerns in a timely manner.
  • Uphold a clean and organized workspace to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment according to SOPs and safety protocols.
