About The Position

The J.R. Simplot Company is a diverse, privately held global food and agriculture company headquartered in Boise, Idaho. We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture. Summary The Packaging Manifest position is responsible for recording production of cases and totes by utilizing the inventory control system. Ensures the correct totes of product enter the packaging area from the warehouse.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
3+ years related experience and/or training
Good knowledge of Computer Systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work in refrigerated and frozen environments
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to bend/stoop frequently
Ability to wear personal protective equipment including rain gear, hard hat, safety goggles
Ability to work with and around a variety of cleaning chemicals
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to work in fast paced environments

Responsibilities

Ensures the ticketing and proper coding of all products.
Able to compile and generate reports.
Able to work with the Data Collection System.
Able to assist in the training of new employees.
Cleans and sanitizes food packaging equipment using water and chemicals.
This position will be responsible for assisting with rework and other packaging general labor duties for the remainder of the assigned shift.
