About The Position

McKee Foods is hiring a Packaging Machine Operator to set up, adjust, and maintain packaging equipment for production runs. The role performs product, code, and packaging changeovers; enters OPM11i data accurately and on time; and troubleshoots equipment and makes necessary adjustments. The operator may disassemble, assemble, and clean equipment throughout the business unit for a full shift or longer, and may perform other duties, including higher-level jobs, as needed. This is an onsite third-shift position at 272 Patton Farm Road in Stuarts Draft, Virginia. The regular schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 10:20 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.; other days and hours may be needed. Pay is $25.21–$26.49 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, plus a $2.00-per-hour premium for third-shift hours.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

Previous machine operator experience, particularly with plastic film or wrap.
Excellent mechanical skills and/or previous technical training.
Ability to perform equipment setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
