About The Position

Turner Industries is seeking a Packaging Line Maintenance Mechanic for a site in Galena Park, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various automated packaging and production equipment in a manufacturing facility. Turner Industries is a diversified industrial contractor focused on providing solutions to increase plant production, reduce costs, and prevent downtime in industries such as petrochemical, refining, and energy.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Experience in all aspects of maintaining and repairing various pieces of automated packaging and production equipment in a Packaging and Manufacturing facility.

Nice To Haves

• Welding is a plus
• Robotics experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Valve troubleshooting and repair (1/2" up to 10" valves, screw pipe and welded)
• Experience with Actuators (electric and Pneumatic driven)
• Experience with case erectors and de-palletizers
• Experience with high-speed fillers
• Electrical control troubleshooting and repair
• Electrical distribution
• Electric motors removal/replacement/alignment
• Gear box assembly installation and removal/replacement
• Pump repair (diaphragm and centrifugal)
• Air compressors
• Conveyor belt repair
• Pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair
• Hydraulic systems troubleshooting and repair
• General, basic mechanical troubleshooting skills and background
• Problem solving through inductive and deductive reasoning
• Fabrication
• Welding is a plus
• Robotics experience is a plus
