About The Position

Package materials and products manually by performing the following duties. This is an entry-level position with basic responsibilities focused on preparing and completing work in an organized manner. The role requires the ability to operate basic tools and machinery, and to lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

Basic counting skills.
Ability to accurately read and follow documented instructions.
Familiarity with counting scales and calculators.
Ability to take direction from supervisors and peers.
Ability to work well within a team environment.
Meet 50 lbs. lifting requirements.
Ability to prepare and complete work in an organized manner.
Understanding of basic functions of core (Visual) company software.
Ability to operate basic tools, banders, shrink wraps machines, staples guns, tape guns, impacts, drills etc.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Must be able to pass forklift certification test and drive a forklift.
Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Occasionally required to sit.
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, often lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and 2 persons lift over 50 lbs occasionally.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; and vibration.
Follow all safety directives and protocols at all times and help identify potential hazards or violations that should be addressed to ensure personnel and facility safety are maintained.
Be cognizant of overall performance in every aspect of our business and help maintain a constant focus on quality assurance and continuous quality improvement.
Strong attendance and dependability by consistently reporting to work on time and completing assigned tasks accurately.
