About The Position

The position is responsible for operating and maintaining high-speed packaging lines. This role involves conducting machine start-up, operation, and shutdown, as well as initial troubleshooting of equipment and production issues. The technician will also engage in quality assurance activities, load/unload materials, maintain a clean work environment, adhere to Standard Operating Guidelines, and train new personnel. Requirements

Previous experience with high speed production equipment desired
Solid mechanical skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to read reports, instructions, and procedures

Responsibilities

Conducts machine start-up, operation, and shutdown relevant to equipment area
Conducts initial troubleshooting of equipment and production issues and makes appropriate adjustment as needed
Engages in quality assurance activities (corrective action, sensory evaluation, sampling, testing, etc.)
Loads/unloads material and finished product, including driving fork lifts
Ensures clean work environment
Adheres to SOG’s (Standard Operating Guidelines) and checklists
Trains new personnel and other team members when needed
Other duties as assigned
