Packaging Equipment Operator - RPB - Day Shift
About The Position
This position is based at Abbott Nutrition’s Casa Grande, Arizona manufacturing plant. Abbott Nutrition develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, including brands such as Similac, PediaSure, Pedialyte, Ensure, and Glucerna. The Packaging Equipment Operator safely operates production equipment, performs sampling and monitoring to help ensure sterility, completes accurate work orders and documentation, replenishes production materials, and maintains a clean and safe work environment. The position is accountable for meeting FDA, OSHA, and Abbott compliance standards. This is a 12-hour day-shift position, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with every other weekend off. The posted base pay is $17.15–$34.25 per hour; the range may vary in specific locations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of production experience.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- One year of production experience within a food manufacturing environment.
- Forklift experience.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate production equipment, including filling, processing, and sterilizing systems.
- Perform sampling responsibilities and monitor charts to ensure sterility.
- Complete work orders and documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and across all levels of the plant.
- Replenish and maintain production materials as needed.
- Perform general housekeeping and sanitation tasks.
- Meet compliance standards, including FDA, OSHA, and Abbott policies and procedures.
