Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Package Engineering or other related engineering fields
  • 3-5 years of experience in package development project work or equivalent experience, preferably in the skin care, cosmetics, consumer goods or related field
  • Strong technical drawing review, evaluation, and approval
  • Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal and communications skills

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading packaging development for new product launches, reformulations and product modifications. This includes sourcing within target cost, engineering, development, testing, and shipping.
  • Ensure that all package testing and validation happens according to protocol and specifications. This includes primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging.
  • Works closely with cross functional partners including Marketing, Creative, Product Development and Operations to ensure success.
  • Leads development and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers including packaging suppliers, CM’s and 3PL.
  • Leads the Improvement and optimization the quality and performance of existing core products. Track packaging quality issues, determine root cause, implement CAPAs, track in-market response.
