Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Package Engineering or other related engineering fields
3-5 years of experience in package development project work or equivalent experience, preferably in the skin care, cosmetics, consumer goods or related field
Strong technical drawing review, evaluation, and approval
Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal and communications skills

Responsibilities

Responsible for leading packaging development for new product launches, reformulations and product modifications. This includes sourcing within target cost, engineering, development, testing, and shipping.
Ensure that all package testing and validation happens according to protocol and specifications. This includes primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging.
Works closely with cross functional partners including Marketing, Creative, Product Development and Operations to ensure success.
Leads development and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers including packaging suppliers, CM’s and 3PL.
Leads the Improvement and optimization the quality and performance of existing core products. Track packaging quality issues, determine root cause, implement CAPAs, track in-market response.
