Requirements

  • Previous maintenance experience with packaging equipment, encapsulation equipment, or similar production machinery.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify equipment problems and perform basic repairs and adjustments.
  • Ability to work the scheduled 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM shift and accommodate schedule changes as business needs require.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous maintenance experience in nutritional products, food, pharmaceutical, supplement, or related manufacturing.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with electrical, pneumatic, or mechanical systems used in automated production equipment.
  • Experience supporting packaging line setups, changeovers, and production equipment adjustments.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair packaging and encapsulation equipment to support reliable production.
  • Diagnose mechanical equipment issues and complete timely repairs to minimize production downtime.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine equipment inspections to help keep machinery operating efficiently.
  • Make equipment adjustments and assist with setups and changeovers as required by production needs.
  • Identify worn, damaged, or malfunctioning components and help determine appropriate corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment issues.
  • Work closely with production team members to identify equipment concerns and resolve operational problems.
  • Follow established workplace safety, quality, sanitation, and maintenance procedures.
