About The Position

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Package Design Intern to join our team for the summer months of May/June through mid August. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the entire packaging design process, from concept to production, at a leading toy company.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Structural Design, or a related field.
A strong portfolio showcasing your creativity, design skills, and any packaging projects.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
A passion for toys, child development, and creative play.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Responsibilities

Assist the design team in creating and developing innovative packaging extensions for our diverse range of toys.
Support the creation of mockups and prototypes for new packaging designs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and engineering, to ensure packaging designs align with product and brand objectives.
Conduct research on packaging trends, materials, and competitor products to inform design decisions.
Assist with sample organization, shipment coordination, and maintaining the sample library.
Help manage deadlines and communicate project progress to the design leads.
