About The Position

This 6-month co-op experience within Conagra Brands' Research & Development (R&D) Packaging organization will immerse participants in the world of consumer packaged goods. Co-ops will support packaging teams with technical project tasks focused on the development and commercialization of new, improved, and cost-reduced packaging. The role aims to contribute to technology objectives and help individuals meet their personal goals, potentially sparking interest in future career opportunities with iconic brands like Reddi-wip, Slim Jim, and Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP.

Requirements

Current student with a graduation date of May or December 2026
Packaging Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Engineering, or related major preferred
Low level of complexity in tasks
Expected to be a quick learner
Openness to coaching / mentoring
Ability to seek out information as needed
Understanding of strategies as appropriate for project assignments
Appropriate attention to cost considerations
May travel up to 30% of time.
Must be able to travel independently and as a responsible representative of Conagra

Responsibilities

Support packaging teams with technical project tasks.
Contribute to the development and commercialization of new, improved, and cost-reduced packaging.

Participate in plant trials and prepare results for review.
Apply knowledge of technical field to work.
Maintain awareness of technical developments in the field.
Prepare and present results, both written and oral, to supervisor.

Complete project tasks on budget.
Perform technical project related tasks.
May manage small projects independently.
