Requirements

Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
1-2 years of relevant work experience
Must have ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day.
Needs to be able to work on own or with other employees.
Dependability – requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.
Attention to Detail – Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work task

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Fork Truck experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Take direction from Team Leader and/or Supervisor
Follow schedule created by the Planner/Scheduler
Complete manufacturing orders quickly, accurately, and carefully
Accurately label containers as required, making sure labels are clean in appearance, free from wrinkles and match manufacturing instruction
Accurately label boxes including ingredient labels as required
Adopt good housekeeping practices such as cleaning, organizing, and removing trash
Immediately report and clean spills
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Accurately account for on-time timesheets and manufacturing orders
Verify batch numbers and product descriptions match manufacturing orders
Accurately count containers, place in boxes or on skids in a safe, orderly, and efficient manner
Clean vessels, tools, containers, and work area well to assure residual material is not present
Upon completion of a manufacturing order, remove bulk containers, skids, and excess packaging to maintain inventory accuracy
Operate fork truck in a safe, cautious manner
Accurately account for packaging or production supplies used
Wear appropriate safety equipment
Supporting other areas of production as designated by the Manufacturing Manager (shipping, receiving packaging, deliveries)
