About The Position

The packager is responsible for visual and physical inspection along with labelling and packaging of products to assist in the operation of the production lines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally
• Must be able to pass physical examination as required.
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.

Responsibilities

• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Recognize adherence to quality standards and report all defects to supervisor/lead.
• Label products before and after packaging as needed.
• Setup packaging area for shipment.
• Assist in production paperwork as applicable.
• Train new employees on production line.
• Maintain a clean and safe production line.
• Perform waste disposal per work instructions.
• Drive forklift as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
