1st Shift Packager, Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3pm
About The Position
The Packager receives finished parts, visually inspects them for major defaults or nonconformities, and marks them per planner or customer specifications. Once approved by Quality, the Packager packs the part(s) according to specifications, ensuring packaging meets inspector approval, and then sets them aside for shipping. This role requires adherence to all safety, quality, and personnel policies, as well as maintaining a regular and reliable schedule. The position also involves performing other duties as assigned, specification testing, and active engagement in the department's 6S program.
Requirements
- Must be able to use common office software systems, computer operations relative to data entry and ERP system.
- Royal forklift certification required.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and perform packaging as required by customer and in-house specifications (e.g., bags, bubble wrap, foam).
- Complete proper documentation for each manufactured part.
- Identify and package completed parts per customer specifications.
- Mark all parts prior to final inspection.
- Receive approval from an inspector prior to shipping the parts.
- File paperwork in appropriate places.
- Maintain a regular and reliable schedule as set by the supervisor.
- Abide by all safety, quality, personnel, and other policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned for the good of the department and company.
- Perform specification testing per customer and certification requirements.
- Be actively engaged in the department’s 6S program and complete all necessary paperwork.
