This role involves the manual and/or automated packaging of all blister, form/fill/seal, hospital pack, and allergist tray products. The associate will possess a general knowledge of all packaging equipment, enabling safe operation through breaks, clearing jams, and stopping/restarting machines as needed. This position is for the B Shift, which runs from 6:20 PM to 6:30 AM.

Requirements

• Follow all company safety rules, regulations and job safety analysis.
• Must know lockout procedures as described in the corporate safety standard 13, plant lockout procedure and key interrupt.
• Good hand-eye coordination and repetitive hand, wrist and arm movements.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic computer keyboard & navigational skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manual and/or automated put up of all blister, form/fill/seal, hospital pack and allergist tray products.
• Safe operation of equipment through breaks, clearing jams, stopping and restarting machine as needed.
• Fill and operate shelf carton erector and clear minor jams.
• Responsible for quality of product including but not limited to: discarding obviously defective packages, removing and saving contents, checking packaging for correct count, checking for damage to syringes, checking for correct lot control numbers, inserting brochures as required.
• Palletizing finished product and attaching proper pallet card.
• Operating semi-auto tape machine.
• Performing minor duties not requiring mechanic attention.
• Keep work area clean. Final clean up at end of shift.
• Regular attendance.
