About The Position
This position is responsible for processing finished products for customer-specified packaging. The role involves inspecting products, gathering supplies, printing labels, assembling boxes, ensuring food safety through metal detection, counting products, and completing work orders to document processed goods. The work environment can be in an office, plant, or warehouse setting, with specific requirements for attention to detail, basic math, reading, writing, and color acuity. The manufacturing floor setting may involve loud noise, dust, and temperature changes, and requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Requirements
- Must be able to count product accurately
- Meticulous attention to detail; well organized and able to apply logic to a variety of situations to solve complex problems
- Records maintenance skills
- Color acuity necessary
- Basic math skills
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Ability to see and distinguish fine differentiation in color, detail, and design
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Responsibilities
- Inspect finished products and discard defects
- Gather packaging supplies to package finished goods to match customer-specified orders
- Print labels to match packaged finished goods
- Assemble & label boxes
- Run product through metal detector to ensure food safety standards
- Count finished products to match specified label quantities
- Label and case finished products
- Complete work orders to document processed finished goods
