About The Position

This position involves ensuring the shipment of temperature-controlled and undamaged product. Drivers will drive vehicles to designated destinations for customer product deliveries, ensuring safe driving and timely deliveries. Responsibilities include loading and unloading products, putting product away according to customer specifications, and maintaining driving logs and daily paperwork. The role requires adherence to DOT regulations and safety standards, following a set delivery route, and organizing all delivery paperwork. Pre- and post-trip inspections are also a key part of the job. The company emphasizes a driver-first culture, led by former drivers, and offers a supportive environment with competitive pay and full benefits. The role guarantees weekly pay of $1,650 ($85,800 annually) and includes a sign-on bonus structure. Drivers are home every day, with no overnights required for the driver, and work local routes on dedicated lanes. The driving position works 5 shifts Sunday through Friday, with Saturday nights always off.

Requirements

• Prior experience delivering from a liftgate.
• Minimum 1-year material handling equipment experience.
• The ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly.
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds.
• The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
• The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.
• The ability to see well at night and drive in the dark.
• Drivers must be 21 years of age.
• Drivers must have a minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience in the last 3 years.
• Drivers must have a current drivers’ license and current DOT medical card.
• No CDL accidents in the last 36 months (3 years).
• No major violations or suspensions in the last 36 months.
• No suspension related to driving performance in the last 36 months (3 years).
• Must be able to work overnight.
• Must be able to work Friday and Sunday nights.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred 1-year prior food distribution experience.
• Prior experience working an overnight shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspection.
