About The Position

The Waldorf Astoria New York is seeking a Package Room Attendant to manage the flow of packages and deliveries throughout the property. This role involves receiving, tracking, and safeguarding shipments, notifying guests and team members, and ensuring timely delivery. The position also acts as a package and shipping concierge, assisting guests with outbound shipments and providing personalized service.

Responsibilities

• Handle mail and packages with care: Retrieve and distribute guest mail, small packages, and documents upon request
• Manage incoming communication: Answer phone calls, take messages, and relay information promptly and accurately
• Delight our guests: Assist with directions, local recommendations, and general information as needed to enhance the guest experience
