Package Handler - Part-Time
About The Position
Gordon Food Service is seeking a Part-Time Package Handler for their Distribution Center in Kenosha. This role is crucial to the company's success in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to customers. While it involves being on your feet for the entire shift and lifting up to 100 pounds, no prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided. The pay starts at $22.14/hour, with opportunities to earn more through production and efficiency incentives, as well as two pay raises in the first year. The work schedule is Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with approximately 20-25 hours per week, starting at 7:50 PM for the 2nd shift.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions is required.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
- Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
