About The Position

Nippon Sanso MATHESON is a leading supplier of industrial and specialty gases, and gas handling equipment in the United States. This role involves hauling cylinders of compressed gases such as Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, Hydrogen and Carbon Dioxide, primarily to hospitals, commercial food processors, and various government agencies. The position is mainly local with home daily, though drivers may be required to layover and adjust to scheduling changes. This is described as clean, consistent, year-round work with no down periods.

Requirements

CDL Class B license and current DOT medical card
Minimum 1 year of experience of CDL Class B experience or .5 years of experience with certification from an accredited driving school
Current Hazmat Endorsement (will consider candidates without Hazmat endorsement if obtained within 60 days of hire)
No more than 1 traffic violation in last 2 years
No at-fault accidents in the last 2 years
No DUI/DWI in last 5 years (1 per lifetime)
Ability to pass DOT physical, DOT drug test and criminal background check

Responsibilities

Haul cylinders of compressed gases such as Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, Hydrogen and Carbon Dioxide.
Deliver gases primarily to hospitals, commercial food processors, and various government agencies.
Adjust to scheduling changes as needed.
Perform duties related to the safe transport and delivery of compressed gases.
